Lab Testing Consent

Last updated: August 12, 2026

By placing an order, you're confirming that you've read and agree to the following.

1. Consent to testing

You're choosing on your own to order the tests you selected, or you've authorized someone else to arrange them for you under Section 6 of our Terms of Service. You consent to having your blood drawn at an independent lab (Labcorp or Quest) and to having your selected tests run on that sample. You understand that, to make this legally possible, your order is authorized by a licensed physician network working with our lab-ordering partner — and that this authorization doesn't make you their patient or provide you with any medical evaluation, advice, or care.

2. Your results aren't a diagnosis

What you receive is raw lab data intended for screening purposes only — not a diagnosis, and not medical advice. Nobody at Cheap Easy Labs reviews or interprets your results for you. A result flagged as high, low, or abnormal doesn't by itself mean you have, or don't have, any particular condition.

3. Talk to a doctor about what you find

We strongly encourage you to share your results with a licensed physician or other qualified provider who knows your medical history and can put them in context. Don't start, stop, or adjust any medication, supplement, or treatment based on these results alone. If you're experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to the nearest emergency room — don't wait on lab results.

4. No physician-patient relationship

Using the Service doesn't create a physician-patient relationship between you and Cheap Easy Labs, or between you and the physician who authorizes your order. Their role begins and ends with clearing the order for the lab — they don't examine, advise, or treat you.

5. The limits of ordering your own tests

Self-directed testing has real limits. Since you're choosing your own tests, you might order something you don't need or miss something you do. A single result is a snapshot that can shift with fasting status, hydration, recent exercise, medications, and timing. Every lab test can produce false positives and false negatives. Results are most meaningful when a clinician who knows your full history reviews them. By ordering, you're accepting these limitations.

6. Risks you're accepting

A blood draw carries some risk — bruising, soreness, lightheadedness, fainting, and, rarely, infection or excess bleeding. The tests themselves can return false positives or false negatives. Your results are for screening purposes only, not diagnostic ones. By placing an order, you accept these risks and take responsibility for deciding how — or whether — to act on your results, including whether to consult a clinician.

7. Where this applies

Self-ordered testing is only available where it's legally permitted, and isn't available in every state. We currently don't serve New Jersey, New York, or Rhode Island — checkout won't accept an address in those states, so no order or charge occurs. If an order from one of those states is somehow placed and we can't complete it, it will be cancelled and fully refunded.

8. Your acknowledgment

By placing an order, you're confirming that you're 18 or older, that you've read and understood this Consent, and that you're ordering these tests for yourself — or for someone who has authorized you to do so — voluntarily and with this understanding.
